When Mark Smith & Associates was named recently as the top-listing, top-selling and top-volume team in the Westlake Village office of Troop Real Estate, Inc., team leader Mark Smith was quick to credit his partner Sandi Thompson for raising the team’s profile.

Together, Smith and Thompson registered $34 million in residential real estate sales during 2004, earning a spot on Troop’s select "President’s Elite" club. The two continue their torrid pace through the first quarter of this year.

"Sandi enjoys working with sellers and buyers and is very considerate in the way she approaches her responsibilities," Smith said.
A veteran of over 19 years in the real estate profession, Thompson specializes in first-time buyers. "I love helping clients find their dream homes," she said.

Thompson and her husband of 19 years, Lee, a firefighter/paramedic, are raising their two sons, Kevin, 15, and Keith, 12, in Thousand Oaks. They have two boys, Kevin, 15 and Keith, 12.

Devoted to community service, Smith and Thompson continue their innovative marketing and outreach efforts. They are active sponsors of the Tumbleweed Ride for Cancer, an off-road event that benefits cancer victims and survivors.
