Looks back at grocery store strike

I’m a Boy Scout of Troop No. 745 and for a Merit badge I need to write a letter to an editor of a magazine or newspaper about a local problem. The problem that I am writing to you about is the grocery store strike.

I think that it’s a problem because they have been on strike for about four months. The stores aren’t doing anything and no one is giving in to the other side. I think it’s going to stay that way for a long time.

I also think that the strikers should stop, even though I think that you should stand up for what is right. There are two reasons why they should stop, and they are: Most strikers probably picket once a week and have part-time jobs. Vons and other stores are not losing enough money to make a difference.
