Expert on psychological oncology to speak at Wellness

Carl Simonton, M.D., an oncologist, author and speaker best known for his pioneering insights and research in the field of psychosocial oncology, will conduct a workshop titled "Getting Well Again" from 1 to 3 p.m. Sat., March 6 at the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road in the Westlake Village portion of Thousand Oaks.

Simonton is the author of "Getting Well Again" and "The Healing Journey" and in 1979 was honored by the American Medical Association for his film, "Affirmations for Getting Well."
