Arbor Day to be celebrated in Calabasas

The city of Calabasas Tree Board and the Santa Monica Mountains Restoration Trust will host a family-oriented Arbor Day celebration from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sun., March 7 at Wild Walnut Park, at the corner of Mulholland Highway and Old Topanga Canyon Road in Calabasas.

Among the festivities planned: a scavenger hunt for surprise items, a chance to win prize giveaways, and an opportunity to plant a tree.
