Measure D4 in a Nutshell

Measure D4 was passed by voters on Tuesday in Oak Park Unified School District. Measure D4 will

generate nearly $1 million per year to help OPUSD cope with major cutbacks from the state of California.

Measure D4 will require an additional parcel tax of $197 per year. The assessments will expire at the end of five years.

Homeowners over age 65 can qualify for an exemption. Call the district for information at (818) 735-3200.

The parcel tax measure required a two-thirds majority. It passed with 3,495 votes in

favor and 792 against, getting 82

percent of the vote.
