Meetings on mass transit scheduled

The Metro San Fernando Valley Service Sector will host two community meetings this month to update the public on various transportation issues pertaining to Metro Bus service provided in the San Fernando Valley.

The first meeting/open house will run from noon to 2 p.m. today, Thurs., March 4 in the community room at the Westfield Shopping Plaza, 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Canoga Park.

The second meeting will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wed., March 10 at the Van Nuys State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd., Van Nuys.

The public is encouraged to attend and participate in discussions on transit needs for the San Fernando Valley.
