Hampton Inn
receives an award


Hampton Inn & Suites of Agoura Hills has been named a "Circle of Excellence" award winner among only 120 hotels in the nationwide Hampton brand. The 94-unit property at 30255 Agoura Road is ranked as being in the hotel brand’s top 10 percent in service, product and quality among 1,250 Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels.

The criteria for the annual award is based on customer feedback measured through guest satisfaction surveys about the hotel as well as product quality and service scores measured quarterly by the company.

Calabasas natives

open new company

Legend FX was started by Calabasas natives Ron Perry and Dave Ephraim. This new graphics marketing company is based in Woodland Hills and officially opened its doors earlier this month. They create graphics to enhance all forms of today’s technological industries for multiple clients.

"Legend FX takes the very best of a company and helps it translate those traits into a graphic identity," said Perry, company founder and president.

Wescom Credit

opens new branch

Wescom, one of Southern California’s largest credit unions, has opened its 26th Southern California branch inside the Albertsons grocery store at 26521 Agoura Road, Calabasas. Calabasas resident Janet Fales, currently Wescom’s Northridge branch manager, has been selected as branch manager for the new location. She will oversee a staff of six employees at the branch.

"We look forward to extending our better banking commitment to the residents of Calabasas," said Darren Williams, Wescom president. "With 2,000 current Wescom members within a three-mile radius of the new Calabasas branch, we have a strong foundation for our new branch."

Wescom Credit Union is a not-for-profit, financial services cooperative serving more than 200,000 members at 26 branches throughout Southern California.

Westlake company launches Website

Westlake Village-based Western Media Online, the newest division of Western Media Systems, Inc., has launched its new Website, www.westernmedia.com. This new site is devoted to the sale of blank media products, including audio and videotape discs, as well as media packaging and data storage.

The online store has branched away from its parent company, focusing on blank media products rather than duplication services, although both sides of the company are accessible through the Website.
