on school board

We were delighted that Pat Schulz is a candidate to return to the Las Virgenes Board of Education. During her first term, Pat established a distinguished record of service without much fanfare. We have been her neighbor and friend for 20 years and continue to be impressed by her integrity, determination and sound judgment.

Throughout her many years as a parent volunteer in her children’s schools and on district committees, Pat learned valuable people skills which she has used very effectively these past four years on the school board. Working in partnership with teachers, parents, administrators and students, Pat has continued to show her dedication and commitment to meeting the needs of all students.

Pat has consistently sought the opinion of others, but more importantly she has listened. With the retirement of our superintendent in two years, the search for a replacement will begin very soon. Selecting a new superintendent is one of the most critical responsibilities of the school board. Pat’s experience and thoroughness will be an asset in the school board’s search for the best.
