Kim Carnes to perform at Warner Center Park Singer Kim Carnes, who earned a Grammy Award for her hit "Bette Davis Eyes," will team up with singer/songwriter Matraca Berg and Greg Barnhill in a free concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Sun., July 27 at Warner Center Park, at the corner of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Califa Street in Woodland Hills. They’ll present a mix of country/rhythm and blues. Carnes began her career as a member of the New Christy Minstrels. During her career she sang duets with Kenny Rogers and Barbra Streisand and teamed with her husband, Dave Ellington, to write songs for Streisand, Frank Sinatra and others. Her No. 1 hit, "Bette Davis Eyes," from her album "Mistaken Identity," earned her Grammy Awards for both song and record of the year.
