Westlake Village resident graduates with honors
Marlee Sara Organ, daughter of Stan and Linda Organ of Westlake Village, recently received the degree doctor of optometry from Inter American University, San Juan, Puerto Rico. A 1993 graduate of Westlake High School, Organ earned a bachelor of arts in Spanish from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1997. Among the honors she received during the graduation ceremony: a commendation for excellence in service and dedication to the community for four years of service to remote, impoverished communities in the Dominican Republic; an award of merit for outstanding teamwork and effort as a member of the Association of Volunteer Optometrists; and a commendation for motivation and spirit from her classmates. |
