Agoura Hills

Stolen from the back seat of a BMW were music CDs and a briefcase. The loot was valued at $270 and a window was smashed to gain entry ($250 in damage). The break-in occurred on Agoura Road between noon and 6 p.m. July 16.

A door latch and window pane at Agoura High School had $405 in damages after an attempted burglary between 3:07 and 3:17 a.m. July 25. An audible alarm went off and the investigating officer was informed that two males had been previously arrested (about two weeks before this incident) for burglarizing the school.

The men’s restroom at Reyes Adobe Park was vandalized (door handle broken and tiles smashed). The incident ($300 loss) occurred between July 19 and 22.

Six ring watches valued at $72 and $80 cash were stolen from an Endeavor Street home between 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. July 23. A kitchen window was forced open to gain entry.

A school window had $50 damage after it was vandalized on July 19 or 20 in the 5800 block of Larboard Lane.

Calabasas

Stolen from a retailer in the 23600 block of Calabasas Road were a watch stand, women’s watches and sweaters. The $1,460 theft occurred between 12:30 and 5:30 p.m. July 23.

Stolen from a carport’s storage enclosure in the 23600 block of Park Capri were two bicycles and two bike locks. The loss was $520 and the theft occurred between July 16 and 22.

Hidden Hills

An unlocked SUV provided easy access for perpetrator(s) and 80 DVDs, a video game and a DVD remote were stolen. The $1,290 loss occurred on July 20 or 21 on Jed Smith Road.

Malibou Lake

At Pinecrest Road and Lake Vista Drive the night of July 18, a car window was smashed ($150 damage) and a cell phone, sunglasses and a wallet were stolen ($210 additional loss).

Westlake Village

The loss was $4,025 after burglar(s) broke into a Beachfront Lane home and stole a pistol, cell phone, a jewelry box and jewelry, and domestic and foreign currency. Several rooms were ransacked. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. and 10:45 p.m. July 23.

Employees of a moving company were possible suspects after a ring and watch were stolen (an $1,100 loss) while they were being relocated from Calabasas to Westlake Village last October. The incident was only recently reported for insurance purposes.

A light post shade had $85 damage after vandalism in a greenbelt behind Sailview Lane the night of July 16.

A vehicle break-in occurred in the 32200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road between 6:10 and 6:25 a.m. July 19. No details were available.
