The Acorn garbled a letter in last week’s edition from Vernon Padgett, MD, who serves on the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District’s board of directors. Regarding the November election, Padgett’s letter said the following:

There are three divisions of the district which have director seats up for election.

Division 2, which includes voters in parts of Agoura Hills and Old Agoura, now represented by Glen Peterson.

Division 3, which includes voters in Calabasas and surrounding areas, now represented by Vernon Padgett.

Division 5, which includes part of Agoura Hills, now represented by Ann Dorgelo.

Also, a photo caption was incorrect when it said that state Assemblywoman Fran Pavley’s bill, AB-1493, would target greenhouse emissions of cars.

The bill is directed at light trucks, including SUVs.
