Camp Sunny Skies to host Open Houses soon

Sunny Skies Summer Day Camp offers boys and girls ages 4 to 14 an outdoor summer day camp experience on a 23-acre ranch in Agoura. Their program includes swimming, canoeing on the creek that runs through the property, nature, crafts, animal care, fishing, archery, horseback riding, team sports, special theme days, sleepouts and more. Campers are placed into small camp groups to facilitate maximum supervision.

Sunny Skies is accredited by the American Camping Association. The camp provides transportation options to all camp families utilizing seatbelt-equipped school buses with professional school bus drivers. Multiple staff ride on board each bus to lead songs and play games en route to camp.

Camp sessions run from June 24 through Aug, 23. Two, three, four and five day a week combinations are available to meet various schedules. Early registration is suggested as enrollment is limited.

Parents interested in learning more about Sunny Skies are invited to attend Open Houses from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays, March 24 and April 21.

The Open Houses provide an opportunity for parents and children to meet the camp directors (Harold Gordon is the senior director and Jeff Salzman is camp director) and staff and to have a tour of the camp site.
