Westlake Village Inn to offer annual Easter Brunch

Westlake Village Inn will host its annual Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sun., March 31. On Easter Sunday, executive chef Ray Swanson will create "an array of mouthwatering delicacies."

Some of the annual favorites are the "scrumptious" waffle station accompanied by Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee and the made-to-order omelets "with all the fixin’s."

If a lighter fare is desired, guests may help themselves to an assortment of crisp, fresh vegetables at the salad station. "Surf and turf" folks will want to visit the seafood and carving stations for big helpings of smoked salmon, shrimp and crab legs, maple carved ham, roasted turkey breast, and a "steamship" of roast beef with peppercorn sauce. Side dishes include oven-roasted new potatoes, spring vegetables, fresh breads, and much more.

The little ones have their own pasta station featuring four-cheese baked ziti.

Finally, a great feast is incomplete without a generous selection of desserts: eclairs, cakes, fruit tarts, petit fours and Easter cookies.

The price for brunch is $31.95 for adults; $16.95 for children ages 4 to 11; kids 3 and younger eat for free.

In addition to brunch, Westlake Village Inn has some fun-filled festivities planned for kids of all ages. The 10th annual Easter Egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. at the hotel waterfall, and activities last until 2 p.m. There is a petting zoo featuring baby goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks and "Pig Pig," the pot-bellied pig. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be "hopping around" the hotel with story-telling and one-on-one visits with the children.

There will also be face-painting at the lakeside gazebo for the occasion.
