Agoura Hills councilmembers should look As a 19-year resident of Agoura Hills, I look forward to the dawning of a new day where the residents have a greater input in the planning and development of our community. I’m rather concerned to read Mayor Denis Weber’s statement, "To say I am disappointed is an understatement." What’s the true essence of his disappointment? Whose agenda is city hall serving: the residents, the developer or the retailer? And why wasn’t the preliminary Environmental Impact Report made public? Non-disclosure of this vital information is disconcerting at best and warrants further investigation. The councilmembers need to reevaluate their loyalties, ethics and veracity. There’s a nationwide trend to protect the integrity of the land and existing small businesses of smaller rural communities and Agoura Hills is no exception.
