      Citizens for Responsible Growth (CRG) delivered 2,860 signatures to the Agoura Hills City Clerk’s office Monday, an ample number to force a Home Depot referendum by spring of next year, according to proponents.

Special education critics speak out in Oak Park

      Oak Park parents during a school board meeting last week griped about a perceived lack of attention to special education in Oak Park schools. District officials blamed an inability to retain special ed. teachers. Concern over special education has existed for many years, parents said. When administrators heard the complaints, nothing happened, according one mother.

Turn clocks back on Sunday
      You’re getting back an hour that you lost the first Sunday in April last spring when daylight-saving time went into effect. At 2 a.m. this Sun., Oct. 28, clocks should be turned back one hour when standard time returns. It’s easy to remember. We spring forward one hour in April and we fall back one hour in October. Please enjoy your extra hour away from work this weekend.
