With hazardous waste, it’s safety first

CLEANUP—Workers unload hazardous waste from a pickup on Sunday at the Calabasas Landfill. Los Angeles County residents were encouraged to bring dangerous items such as motor oil, paint and antifreeze for proper disposal. Similar events are conducted several times each year.
