Golf tournament fundraiser set

Interface Children Family Services will host its seventh annual Women’s Golf Clinic, "Learn with the Pros," on Mon., Sept. 17 at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo. All proceeds from the event will benefit the effort of the Council Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) and Interface’s Family Violence Services.

"Learn with the Pros" teams groups of no more than six players with a "Class A" LPGA teaching pro for a day full of clinics. Players of all levels of experience are welcome from the accomplished golfer to the woman just thinking about learning to play golf.

The entry fee of $225 per person includes continental breakfast, the morning and afternoon’s golfing events, a putting contest worth $5,000, a gourmet luncheon, a hosted cocktail reception, raffle prizes and silent auction that includes golf packages, jewelry, art and more.

Participants are invited to begin to learn the game of golf or improve their skills.

For information or to receive an invitation, call Christine Hamilton at (805) 485-6114, ext. 640.
