Conejo Players cover life

Conejo Players Theatre will present "The Cover of Life" at 2 p.m. on Sept. 1 to 2, 8 to 9 and 15 and at 7 p.m. on Sept. 7 at their theatre, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

"The Cover of Life" looks at a group of women, married to three brothers, in a small Louisiana town during World War II who are forced to move in with their mother-in-law. After a local reporter profiles their situation, Life magazine sends a correspondent to do a follow-up story and discover more than expected.
