Debate continues over local hospital situation

      The death of a Westlake Village man who died from a recent traffic accident has stoked more debate over whether Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks is sufficient to handle urgent emergencies and whether a trauma care facility should return to Westlake Village to help ease those concerns.

Early deadlines
      Deadlines for the next week’s issue (Sept. 6) will be advanced by 24 hours because of Labor Day next Mon., Sept. 3. Space for real estate ads must be reserved by noon today, Aug. 30. The display advertising deadline is noon tomorrow, Fri., Aug. 31. All other deadlines also move forward by 24 hours.
