Yiddish language courses begin in September

The Workmen’s Circle/Arbeter Ring begins its fall session of Yiddish language classes on Tues., Sept. 4, with Level 2, Intermediate and Advanced classes; and Mon., Sept. 10 with the Level 1 class for students who know "gor nisht" or nothing, as they say in Yiddish.

Prospective students are invited to attend a free sample class to assess their level of placement. Courses are taught by Yakob Basner, a native speaker from Riga, Latvia.

Tuition for an 18-week semester is $108 for Workmen’s Circle members or $162 for non-members. For registration, information and membership details, please call (310) 552-2007.
