Conejo Kennel Club to host all-breed dog shows soon

The Conejo Kennel Club will host its annual back-to-back AKC All-Breed Dog Shows from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sat. and Sun., Sept. 8 and 9 on the campus of Newbury Park High School, 456 N. Reino Road, Newbury Park.

More than 1,000 dogs shown by local and out-of-state dog fanciers will compete before national and international judges for the Best-in-Show designation.

Canine Good Citizen Testing (CGC) is open to the public and will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. The fee is $10.

A barbecue luncheon will be sponsored by the Newbury Park High School Football Boosters. This annual fundraiser helps support the school’s football program.

Admission is free to the shows. On-site parking is $3.
