‘Loungin’ After Dark’ event, dance workshops coming soon

The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services is offering "Loungin’ After Dark," a teen night out event from 8 to 10 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 7 at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, 30610 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Agoura Hills.

The cost is $6 which includes live entertainment including interactive deejays from Hart 2 Hart. Snacks, games, prizes, T-shirts and dancing are also planned.

Evening classes are now open for registration for a series of dance workshops at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas. Workshops will feature such styles as Texas Two-Step, night club dancing, tango, swing or salsa, and no partner is necessary. Five-week classes are also available. Class fees range from $15 to $20 per workshop.
