Scandinavian Autumn Fest is coming to Vasa Park

Vasa Park in rural Agoura will be the site of Autumnfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 16. The event features traditional Scandinavian music, folk dancing, woodcraft, spinning, weaving and quilting exhibits, rosemaling, and a marketplace with foods, keepsakes and gifts. Dressed in traditional garb, Ole Olausson and his famous Royal Court will also be present. The event will also mark the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Awards.

Breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. Vasa Park Association members will be permitted to camp-out the night before after 6 p.m. Admission to the Autumnfest is $3 adults. Children under 12 are admitted free. Vasa Park is at 2854 Triunfo Canyon Road, three miles south of the Ventura Freeway via Kanan Road. Turn right off Kanan onto Triunfo and enter Vasa Park through the gates immediately adjacent to Mike Edrick Stables.
