NORTH RANCH DISASTER DRILL-From left, Rachel Foster, 6, and her two sisters Jessy and Emily, practice using a fire hose during disaster preparedness exercises last Sunday at North Ranch. A practice alert was sent out to 450 homes in the Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks area as Fire Department and paramedic units stood ready. During the drill, the Thousand Oaks disaster response team demonstrated search and rescue and evacuation techniques.
