National Donor Day set for Saturday

In a nationwide effort to save lives, National Donor Day will be observed on Sat., Feb. 10, for the fourth consecutive year by Saturn Corporation, its United Auto Worker partners and leading nonprofit health organizations.

This year, Saturn of Thousand Oaks will again observe National Donor Day with personnel from United Blood Services available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at its store, 3440 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. in Thousand Oaks.

Those at least 17 years of age and in good health are invited to participate by donating blood and/or joining the National Marrow Donor Program Registry of potential marrow and blood stem cell donors.
