Temple hosts events

Each month, Temple Aliyah at 6025 Valley Circle Blvd. in Woodland Hills offers a variety of ongoing Shabbat and Minyan services and special events to members and the community at large for participation and enrichment.

Dedicated to the perpetuation of the Conservative movement of Judaism, Temple Aliyah has served the needs and concerns of the West San Fernando Valley Jewish community for more than 36 years. Lunch and Learn: Join Rabbi Vogel for his discussion group about the upcoming Torah text; meets Thursdays, Feb. 15 and 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Selma Lubin Hall. For further information, call Barbara at (818) 346-3545.

Tot Shabbat: Sat., Feb. 10 and 25, at 11 a.m. Special service in the Kurland Family Chapel filled with fun and cheer created with the child’s mind in mind.

Junior Congregation: Sat., Feb. 17 at 10:15 a.m. Special Shabbat service geared for elementary school-aged children.

Murder Mystery Night: Sat., Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. Cost of $20 includes dinner and entertainment.

Tzadikkim Shabbat: Fri., Feb. 23 at 8:15 p.m. Honors donors to program benefiting members in need.
