Display opens at The Oaks

The Ventura County Discovery Center’s educational outreach programs will be on display Thurs. through Sun., Feb. 8-11, in Center Court at The Oaks Shopping Center.

Visitors to the mall will have the opportunity to experience the Discovery Center’s current programs firsthand, including STARLAB, Family Science Night, Science Theater and R.A.Y.S. (Reading Awakens Young Scientists).

Programs will be presented from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Feb. 8; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fri., Feb. 9; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat., Feb. 10; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sun., Feb. 11. STARLAB shows will run every half hour during this schedule.
