Jewish group offers programs
Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, a non-sectarian, nonprofit agency, will sponsor the following programs:

"Adjusting to Separation and Divorce Group" will meet 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 12 through April 2, at the JFS-LA’s Conejo Valley office, 100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Ste. 110, Thousand Oaks. A pre-group interview is required. The goal is to provide support during this difficult transition, address the many feelings that arise and assist in planning for future decisions and challenges in a supportive, confidential environment. The cost is $60.

"You and Your Aging Parent Group" will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 28 through April 18. It’s designed to assist the adult child of elderly parent(s) gain information, resources and support in managing the many complex issues that arise in caring for an elderly parent. The cost is $80 per individual or $120 for a couple.
