Calabasas City Council fills two posts on planning commission

      The Calabasas City Council appointed Toby Keeler and re-appointed Scott Solomon to the city’s planning commission at its meeting last week. Both will serve two-year terms, unless the new council reorganizes the planning commission after the March 6 election.

Seventh period experiment continues at OPHS

      The need for outside private tutoring is no longer an issue for students at Oak Park High School (OPHS). To improve grades, the school has modified its academic year with a seventh period support time. This new addition to the OPHS schedule has been designated between 2:15 and 3:05 p.m. Students are now moving into the second quarter of the school year with this program.

Mayor portrays ‘Indiana Jones’ during upbeat State of City address

      The crowd knew something special was about to happen as the lights dimmed in the Calabasas City Council chambers last Thursday evening. First came strains of the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" theme song. Then he walked in, with the trademark leather jacket and classic hat. Could it be adventurer Indiana Jones? Well, not exactly.
