ON THE MISSISSIPPI––The Cassel family: Karen, Richard, Sydney and Mel, display a copy of The Acorn while on vacation last summer in the Mid-west. PORT OF CALL--Ketchikan, Alaska, is the final port of call for Oak Park's Rankell family as they tour Alaska by cruise ship last summer. The entire family, Steven, Jordan, Brad and Hope, is smiling and dressed warmly.

NEW YEAR'S EVE IN PARIS-- Mark and Karen Friedman of Calabasas celebrate the New Millennium in Paris. The family, including children, Whitney, Alex and Brandon, display their copy of The Acorn for this picture, taken last New Year's Eve.

ROUGH DAY AT THE LAGOONS--Tired from riding the hotel's frog all morning, Kelly and Timmy Samuelson pose with The Acorn while dad's out on the golf course.The family resides in Agoura Hills and spent their vacation on Kuaui, Hawaii, at the Kuaui Lagoons Golf Club.

MOSCOW'S RED SQUARE--Last summer's trip to Russia will be long remembered by Benie and Mary Ann Gehan and , Carol Enoch, all of Westlake Village. The group brought along The Acorn for this special photograph taken just prior to their tour of St. Basil in Red Square.

CATCH OF THE DAY--''Sure, this one's big, but you should have seen the one we couldn't get in the boat!'' Jessie, Linny and Mikey Bilodeau and Capt. Bill were happy to call it quits after pulling in this awesome "Ahi. The Oak Park threesome was doing some serious fishing in Maui, Hawaii, and didn't say whether it was a catch-and-release day. As long as they didn't use The Acorn to wrap the remains after cleaning the fish, we're not complaining.

TASHA AND VALERIE SHAKE UP PARIS-This pair of Agoura Hills cuties left Parisians wondering about those crazy American girls. Not forgetting a copy of The Acorn for theirEuropean vacation, Tasha Hillen and Valerie Stern gleefully read at the Seine River with the Eiffel Tower behind.

SUMMER IN SCOTLAND--Andrew and Spencer Harter enjoy six wonderful weeks in Scotland and pose here with a guard at the Edinburgh Castle. They live here in the city of Agoura Hills.
