Lightning strikes in tournament

The Agoura Lightning, a new baseball travel team for 9 and 10 year olds, finished their season with a 7-2 record, capped off by a second place finish at the Gold Coast Thanksgiving Tournament.

The Lightning played five games in two days and scored wins over the Gold Coast Giants, CBC Braves and Thousand Oaks Rattlers before losing to the Southside Braves.

Coach John Macks credited the strong play of Sean Solomon, Shawn Domke, Max Babylon and Sam Yarin. Other players on the team are Ricky Macks, Alec Arsht, Shane Crofts, Max Fehn, Jake Kaplan, Denny Keller, Stephen Keller, Drew Kuban and Bryan Langlois.
