Can one man make a difference?

As a child, my parents would prepare a special box during the holidays for those less fortunate in the community where we lived. I looked forward each year to the times we would drop these holiday boxes full of food and gifts on doorsteps. It gave me a great feeling of appreciation for what I had been given and helped me to always try to help others in need.

I want to thank George Annino for the opportunity he has given me to give again this year.

I have participated in the "Santa Comes to Agoura" food drive for five years now. George Annino has made a profound difference in my life through his extraordinary example of love, service, kindness and generosity. He has helped so many to give.

And so I thank you, George Annino, and all those who have done so much for so many.

May we all give of ourselves like George Annino!
