Children’s Christmas party planned

At least 450 needy children are expected to attend a Christmas party hosted by St. Paschal Baylon Church on Sat., Dec. 16. Underprivileged children of the church and the community are invited to the party scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the church hall at 155 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.

The Men’s Club will provide a lunch of hot dogs, fruit, soda, chips and ice cream.

Sparky Anderson, a Hall of Fame former major league baseball manager, and Santa will be on hand to distribute gifts and goodies.
