Santa visits more than the malls

A FRONT YARD SANTA––Zackary Downard, 7, sits on Santa’s expansive lap during a cool crisp autumn night and tells him all the goodies he would like for Christmas. Paul Keena as Santa Claus will sit in front of his Thousand Oaks home this holiday season so that children won’t have to stand in long lines at local shopping centers. Behind Santa on the left is Paul’s wife, Lynda (playing Mrs. Claus) with daughter, Melissa, and son, Timothy (as Santa’s elves). This bilingual Santa will be, he said, at 2611 Calle Abedul in Thousand Oaks from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 14 through 16 and 21 through 23. In the spirit of the season, the Keena family is offering this free.
