Kris Kringle Regatta
ANCHORS AWEIGH––On a chilly December morning, Alex Weiksnar, 11, readies his ‘Sabot’ sailboat for the annual Kris Kringle Regatta competition at Westlake Yacht Club. This event last Sunday was the final competition of the racing season. Westlake Yacht Club is located at The Landing on Lindero Canyon Road, south of the 101 Freeway. Members enjoy a variety of activities throughout the sailing season. The previous weekend, club members hosted a colorful parade of holiday lights.
