Holiday ship ‘sales’ in

The Ventura County Maritime Museum’s Model Guild will stage its annual Holiday Ship Model Expo and Sale through Dec. 31.

A broad range of types and sizes of vessels will be represented, from small fishing dories to fully-armed and fitted-out historic war ships, all done to exacting scale to accurately represent the true dimensions of the original vessels. All models are for sale.

The museum is at 2731 S. Victora Ave., on Fisherman’s Wharf, Channel Islands Harbor, in Oxnard. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
