New board will consider water rates

      Two new faces will appear on the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) Board of Directors as a result of last week’s election, but whether or not the change in leadership will result in lower water rates for LVMWD’s 65,000 customers remains to be seen.

Flu vaccine shortage halts free inoculation programs

      Los Robles Regional Medical Center was forced to cancel a third day of free flu shots on this Sat., Nov. 18 because the hospital ran out of vaccine during a similar event on Monday. The flu shot clinics were scheduled to help seniors and high risk people, but demand exceeded supply.
